Hillview College envisages an all round education which embraces the total development of the student so that they can function and contribute positively in a rapidly changing local and global environment.
This mission in embodied in the College Motto - Humani Nihil Alienum. This is a Latin phrase which means, 'Nothing concerning humanity is alien to me.' Expressed in a positive way it means, 'I am interested in every thing concerning mankind.'
It is also enshrined in the words of the College Song :

We'll face the world with visions new.
I attended Hillview from 1968 to 1975. Alisharan was the principal while I attended and he had assembly (prayer, announcements, etc.) on mornings. Great teachers like Nagina, Parasram, Seepersad, Supersad, Selwyn 'Brain' Ramsaran and many others helped shaped my outlook on life.
